Seasonal Celebration Wednesday
Welcome to Seasonal Celebration!
At this time of year we get very little sunlight in England. Short days, omnipresent and oppressive grey skies can easily infuse you with a depressive gloom that’s difficult to shrug off. So in an attempt to mitigate this, our new year resolution was to get out of our increasingly sedentary rut and become seriously fit. Yes, the whole family! So each weekday at the end of the afternoon, I meet my kids and my husband at the local gym and we work out.
You know, I’d forgotten just how fun training can be! After a good work out, my spirit is lifted and my body feels thankful. This time we intend to keep it up as a lifetime habit and I hope my children do too.
What resolution are you holding yourself to in 2013?
Here are our featured posts from last week, these will also be shared on our Facebook Page. Remember please, to link back to NMN if you wish to be featured, thank you. Feel free to grab our fancy featured button in the sidebar!

Thanks for hosting! I’ve got a bit more into fitness recently and am feeling great for it! Trying to not make any resolutions though and instead reflected on what was great about last year!

Hi Rebecca,
We have such cold weather this time of year here, but we do at least get some sunshine to brighten our spirits!
I hope your grey days lighten up and you have sunshine for a few days

I’ve linked up again this week (I’m #21), but the title just says “Bee Girl” instead of “Espresso” so I must have made a mistake when posting it. Ah well! Hope you have a wonderful week!
No worries-we’ll enjoy reading it nonetheless-thank you for stopping by!

What a great resolution! Definitely a good way to shake off the winter blues. I’m in California at the moment enjoying the sunshine (it’s cold, but very sunny), and I must admit I’m kind of dreading returning to the grey skies in England!! This week I’ve shared a sunny Cranberry Orange and Ginger loaf. Ginger is a great spice for this time of year as it’s reputed to prevent/shorten respiratory infections so you can treat yourself and be good to yourself at the same time! Thank you for hosting
